Online Process

• Go to the Passport Seva website 

• Click on New User Registration if you don't already have an account. Click Register after entering your information, choosing the closest passport office, and entering the CAPTCHA 

• Enter your password and register your ID to log in 

• From the homepage, choose Apply for Fresh Passport/Reissue of Passport 

• Select Click here to complete the online application form 

• Complete the application form, making sure to include the application type and passport booklet type 

• To evaluate your form, choose View Saved/Submitted Applications 

• Click Pay and Schedule Appointment to make the payment when all the information has been confirmed 

• To complete your appointment, click the Next button 

• Print the application receipt after choosing your desired Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). 

Offline Process

• Download Passport Application Form No. II" from the official Passport Seva website or go to the closest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). This form is used to update the address 

• Complete the application form by providing your most recent address and any other necessary details 

• Collect the required paperwork, including your original passport, self-attested copies of the first and last two pages, the ECR/Non-ECR page, and any observation pages, as well as documentation of your new address (such as an Aadhaar card, utility bill, or rental agreement) 

• Make an online appointment or go in person to the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK). At the specified counter, turn in your completed form and support documentation 

• Use cash or a credit card at the PSK to pay the appropriate fee for the address update 

• Finish the process of verification. Your paperwork will be examined, and police confirmation may occasionally be necessary 

• Obtain the acknowledgement of receipt upon submission. This slip can be used to monitor the progress of your application 

• Await delivery and processing. As soon as soon as soon as soon as soon as soon as soon as soon as soon as soon as you have been verified validated. The verification result determines the processing time.

Fees for Change of Address in Passport

The costs associated with renewing your passport and changing your address on it are the same. The price will differ based on the kind of passport being sought for, the number of pages in the booklet, if a normal application or a Tatkaal application is being submitted, etc.

The Fees for Each Type of Application

Note:

• The above-mentioned fees once paid is non-refundable.
• The fees are applicable to minors between 15 to 18 years of age willing to avail themselves of a passport with 10-year validity.
• The above-mentioned application fee must be paid in addition to the Tatkal fee  .

Documents Required for Changing Address in Passport

The following documents are to be submitted when applying for a change of address:

• The original passport

• Completed Form No. II for a Passport Application 

• The Aadhar Card

• Voter ID

• Rental Contract 

• Utility bills (no more than three months old) for gas, water, or electricity connections 

• Passbook/Bank Statement 

• Copies of the passport's first and last two pages that have been self-attested 

• A copy of the ECR/Non-ECR page and any relevant observation pages 

• Income Tax Assessment Order

• Employer's certificate on formal letterhead 

• Copy of Payment Receipt 

• Copy of Your Online Application 

• The first and last two pages of the spouse's passport, if any
